Computer won’t turn on, after changing power supply and mother board looks fine?

After changing the power supply now when I press the on button the fan rotates a few spins then off again. What signs should I look for if the mother board is bad?

Make sure that, if your board has a 24 pin plug that you dont have a 20pin connector plugged into it and if there is a 4pin plug near the cpu you also have to have a 4pin connector plugged into it to power your cpu. If your puter ran fine before you swapped PSUs I doubt it would be the board unless you zapped it with static electricity. If you replaced the PSU because your puter wouldn’t start up perhaps your problem was your board and not your PSU. Also, if theres a 240/110 power switch on back of PSU make sure its in 110 mode. I’ve only run across that issue once in 5 years of building computers thou. Remote possibility that the new PSU is bad.
